Unity
Leti Diaz
I was reading in the book of acts this morning, Acts 2: 1-4 to be exact; and concluded that in order for the Holy Spirit to show up we have to be in unity. What does unity mean? It means to be united, together, oneness, unanimity. The apostles and the followers of Jesus were together in the “Upper Room”, they were all in one accord, they were in unity, they were together as one in God. Do you think that if there was a person there that was jealous, envious, judgmental in that meeting that the Holy Spirit would have fallen on them that day? What fulfilled this unity? The Day of Pentecost had come and they were all in one accord.

Today we hear some churches that claim that they “operating in The Spirit”, but in reality, they are not seeing the move of God that we read about in the Bible. Have you ever asked the question why? Could it be that even though these churches that are proclaiming that “the river” is there or there is an open window from heaven right there in the middle of their church or that they “feel” the move of God are just hoping that that is what is going on?

Could it be that their expensive beautiful churches, the flashing lights, smoke machines and programs are pleasing to God? Is that what God is seeking? No, I don’t believe that’s what He’s looking for. I believe He’s looking for a body of believers to be united in Him; without the glamour, the “programs”; without the pomp and circumstances, without the jealousy, greed, pride and judmentalism that is going on. We need to get back to the basics, the Gospel of truth, get back to the reason why Christ came down in the first place; to have a loving relationship with us his creation.
Don’t expect a guest speaker to bring in the “anointing” either. It’ll be you and others standing in unity, with a pure, clean heart that will usher in the Holy Spirit. God is love. Greater love has no man that he lay down his life…

Have you ever asked yourself why God moves in other countries, and not so much in the U.S. of A? It’s because people in other countries aren’t looking for things to fill the void, they’re not looking for a “club like atmosphere” they are genuinely seeking God with all their hearts and mind. They meet together in one place and for one purpose, to meet with God, for fellowship and to see what He is going to do. They have expectations, they totally, wholeheartedly are seeking one thing, they are seeking HIM; that's what you call seeking a relationship. They have the fear of the Lord! I’m talking about reverential fear; honor, respect, reverence, admiration, awe of Him!

Want to see the move of God, seek Him with all your heart, die to self, repent of the things that are blocking the move of the Holy Spirit in your life, be in UNITY. let go of the jealousy, covetousness, anger, hate, envy; then you’ll begin to see the great move of God that you so desire.

Walking in the Spirit
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
