The War Dance

Leti Diaz

The music was intense, the call of War.
I struck the arrow not once, not twice

but three.

I flung my arms to the side, and
stepped hard,
I stepped hard on the
enemy’s camp.

In the midst of the campfire the enemy trembled,
They were shaking in fear of the power that they saw coming.

The music as it was approaching became intense, louder and louder.

As I danced in harmony with the war cry,
My foes began to tremble.

The power was not in the multitude, but in the one they saw dancing so fervently before the Lord, before the
“Commander of the Lord’s Army”.

Make war all you dancers, make war all you who worship. For when you make war the enemy will flee.

The dance confused the enemy. They quickly stood, and saw the Lord approaching and fled.

When the power is manifest and seen, all who are against you will flee.

For the Glory of the Lord will fall on those who truly worship in Spirit and in Truth.

He will give you the power to trample on your enemies, so dance and sing will all your might and watch the enemy flee.
