God, The I Am

Leti Diaz

Exodus 3: 14 “And God said to Moses, IAM WHO IAM, and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE: and HE said, you shall say this to the Israelites, I AM has sent me to you!

What a great way to build your faith than to know that God from the very beginning instructed Moses to tell the children of Israel who He is, the “I AM”. God also wants you to know that He is there for you today in every situation, every thought, every joy, every tear, and every victory. Let God be your God and trust Him for everything in your life; your family, your children, your health, your finances, your destiny, your job and much much more.

Who is “IAM”? He says:

Exodus 3:7. And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of MY people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their task masters and oppressors; for I know their sorrows and sufferings and trials.

God loves His people, He loves you, and He wants you to know that He is there for you. When He spoke to Moses He told him, “My People”; now that we’ve entered into the new covenant through Jesus Christ, that means you and me because we are now grafted in the vine, again, which is Jesus. God wants us to know that we can call on Him for anything, at any time, any situation. He’s your deliverer, He’s your friend, and He’s your joy.

Prayer:

Lord, today I choose to trust in You! I commit this day to You, for You are my peace when there is chaos all around me, You are my strength when I feel weak, You will provide the things I need for today, You are my joy for You fill me up with your presence, You are my song because I can trust in You, You are my gladness for I know You delight in those that trust in You and I trust You, You are my righteousness because You have cleansed me from all my sins, You are my rock - there is no other who has shown me such mercy and grace. You are my Father, because you will never leave me nor forsake me. I choose to sing because today is a new day; You fill me up with such unspeakable love. Lord, thank-you for blessing me today. I entrust my spouse, my children, my family, friends & co-workers into your loving and caring hands. Amen.

Who is the “I AM” to you today? Your Joy? Your Healer? Etc.
