I was sitting at my desk looking out my window and watched the trees swaying back and forth in this awesome wind that’s come.  It’s just a reminder of what is being said, what I’ve been hearing, “Wind of change is coming”.  So, as I’m watching the trees blowing in the wind, I ask the Lord, "ok Lord what do you want to say to me right now?" and I heard the word, “Focus”.  And here’ the scripture I found that I believe He’s led me to and I also dug a little deeper and continued to listen…

 

Proverbs 15:29-31  - The Passion Translation

 

29 The Lord doesn’t respond to the wicked, but he’s moved to answer the prayers of his godly lovers. 30 Eyes that focus on what is beautiful bring joy to the heart, and hearing a good report refreshes and strengthens the inner being.  31 Accepting constructive criticism opens your heart to the path of life, making you right at home among the wise.

 

With so many distractions from everywhere, we, especially me, need to stay FOCUSED on Him.

No matter how difficult it may be, structure yourself for success, not just in business, but in every aspect of your life.

 

• Find a quiet time to read and study His Word (be consistent) – Focus

• Start and/or end your reading time with prayer – Stay Focused

• Commit your time with the Lord, if you need to… find a prayer partner – Focus

• Don’t be in a hurry to leave, wait and listen for His still small voice - Focus
